The World Changed

I think for many of us, the world changed the night of November 6th.  While a bit more then half of the country was ecstatic with joy, far too many were devastated.  It is a terrible thing when a country is practically split down the middle on the desired hopes of its people.  It is even more difficult when one's point of view sees media bias clearly slanting in one direction only.

I made the mistake of relying too much on the common sense of people.  Tuesday night I learned a harsh lesson.  Common sense is an endangered species.  So, as I start this new blog, a place where I can say what I believe, uncensored, on serious issues, in no particular order - here is how I see thing.

I fully expect
  • another terrorist attack and more lies about what it really was,
  •  that jobs after graduation will continue to be very difficult to come by,
  • Sky rocketing energy prices due to Obama's EPA shutting down the energy producing states,
  • A nuclear Iran,
  •  Bowing to the Soviet Union,
  • Another severe recession,
  •  A volatile border with Mexico,
  • Trouble getting good health care,
  •  Higher heath insurance costs and health care costs,
  •  No budget,
  • Our allies mistrust,
  •  Another few trillion of debt,
  •  More Benghazi situations,
  •  Few people willing to join the military,
  •  Trouble getting a loan to buy a home,
  • More dependency on food stamps,
  •  Trouble finding good employment,
  •  Several part time jobs instead of a good job,
  •  A World Government,
  •  The UN governing the United States instead of ourselves,
  •  A Senate that will not bring any legislation to the table rather it is "Dead on Arrival",
  •  China controlling our world trade and trampling all over us,
  •  Loss of our freedoms as we have known them in the past,
  •  A dictatorship instead of a democracy that follows the Constiution,
  • Less take home pay and higher living costs,
  •  Driving a car that looks like a toy,
  • More government corruption and lies,
  • More toleration of extreme and fanatical Islamists,
  • Terrorist attacks called work place incidents,
  • Loss of our religious freedom
President George Bush is out of it now, and there is not another good man who can be vilified and lied about. In a way I am relieved that another good man will not be blamed when it  proves to be impossible to clean up this mess that was voted in.
